General Assembly Voting & Proxy Delegation

Participate in democratic voting during General Assemblies or delegate your proxy vote to a fellow cooperative member.

1. Assembly Polls & Electronic Voting​

  1. Open Assemblies & Voting in your Member Portal.
  2. View active General Assemblies and click Join Session or Cast Ballot.
  3. Inspect resolution details and cast your vote:
    • In Favor (Ja)
    • Against (Nein)
    • Abstain (Enthaltung)
  4. Submit your vote securely. Voting choices are cryptographically logged to prevent tampering.

2. Proxy Management (Stimmrechtsübertragung)​

If you are unable to attend a General Assembly session, German cooperative law permits delegating your voting right:

Strict Security Rule: Proxy votes can only be delegated to another verified member registered on the CoopPilot platform within the same cooperative.

Steps to Assign a Proxy:​

  1. Navigate to Assemblies > Proxy Delegation.
  2. Click Assign Proxy.
  3. Search and select a verified member from your cooperative's member registry directory.
  4. Select the target General Assembly meeting.
  5. Digitally sign the proxy transfer authorization.
  6. The selected proxy holder receives a notification and will cast votes on your behalf during live polling.
